TERMS & POLICIES
We encourage you to pre-register for any class you will be attending, as it is the only way to guarantee your spot in class. If you pre-register for a class and cannot make it, we will NOT deduct that class pass from your package. You can pre-register using any of the options listed below:

Utilize our website either on a computer or a mobile device. You may have to refresh the page or switch to Chrome if you are using Safari as your web browser!
Use the Mindbody website or app.
Try our automated phone system at (914) 618-4887. It will text you back if we are unavailable, but you must text to register more than an hour before the start of class. When you receive a text back, you are not talking to us directly, but to an automated system. Please ensure you get a confirmation text after you enroll!
If technology is not your friend, you can always ask one of our Karma Yogis at the front desk to add you in to an upcoming class!
Pre-registered students who arrive on time are guaranteed a spot. Walk-ins are entered on a first-come, first-served basis. When a class sign-up fills up there is then a wait list. Once class starts, if the pre-registered students have not arrived, then we let those who have walked in take those spots to close the class.
There is no charge for cancelling a pre-reserved class on our regular schedule. If you cannot make it to a class that you pre-registered for you can cancel the reservation online when signed in to your account on our website or app, or give us a call or text to let us know. Although there is no charge, the booking system may not recognize this and default to taking away the class credit, which is why it is important to communicate with us directly!
For workshops and special events we ask that you give us 48 hours notice to cancel and receive an account credit for your next visit to the studio.
CHECK-in & late policy:
All students must stop at the desk to Check-in! When you pre-register for a class you are put on a sign-up list, but in order to track your attendance and class pass correctly we need to check you in on our end.
As classes transition please allow the prior class to exit fully before entering.
If you are arriving late you must wait in the lobby and check in with the desk to get the “OK” to step in. Most of our classes begin with a centering or opening meditation and you may join class after centering is complete. Please always check in with a Karma Yogi at the desk before entering once class has started!
FACILITIES & Studio policies:
Remove shoes prior to entering either studio. Shoes, coats, and other personal items may be stored downstairs or in the lobby. You are welcome to bring your items into the studio (with the exception of shoes - cellphones must be on silent) being mindful to keep them neatly on the side to maximize space for your fellow yogis.
Please be mindful and keep all conversation low when in the lobby while other classes are in session!
Cellphones are not allowed in the studio unless they are on complete silence (vibration and ringer off). If you must take an urgent call we ask that you please step out of the studio/lobby and take the call downstairs by the entrance, being mindful of the volume to not disrupt fellow yogis.
In each studio we keep extra mats to borrow free of charge. We provide blocks, blankets, straps, and any other props you may need, but you are welcome to bring any of your own to support your practice. When class is finished please neatly put away props. Wipe down any studio mats with the cleaner we have available in the studios.
Water and hot tea are also available for you in the lobby. We always encourage you to bring your own reusable bottle or cup!
It is your personal responsibility to consult with your doctor prior to participating in any yoga or fitness classes, especially if you have any medical conditions or injuries. If you have any concerns, are pregnant, or injured, please speak to the instructor before class. We always encourage you to listen to your body, taking appropriate modifications and breaks when needed.
